NOW HIRING: Field Coordinator

February 3, 2021 — The Huron Valley Area Labor Federation (HVALF) is hiring a Field Coordinator to assist in implementing labor’s agenda in our region. The Field Coordinator will work in a six-county region that encompasses the HVALF’s four counties (Washtenaw, Livingston, Jackson, and Hillsdale) and the two counties overseen by the Monroe/Lenawee County AFL-CIO Central Labor Council (MLCLC). The Field Coordinator will report on a weekly basis to the President of the HVALF. The Coordinator’s work plan will be determined by the President of the HVALF, according to the priorities established at the quarterly meetings of the leaders of the HVALF and the MLCLC. The start date for this position is Monday, April 19, 2021. This is a permanent staff position and candidates must be able to commit to the position through December 2022 if selected; candidates who cannot commit to serve through the end of 2022 need not apply and will not be considered.
